![]() ![]() Hold down the Thumb R button (you do not need the modifier for this) You can also use the Right Analog stick to swing your weapon but with less accuracy. Hold down the “Modifier” key or Z-Target and hit A, B, X, and Y to swing your sword. NOTE: I have not fully playtested this profile yet so if you have any issues with the Modifier key being bound to Thumb L feel free to change it. Shake Wiimote – Thumb L (press down on the right analog stick) ![]() Shake nunchuck – Thumb R (press down on the right analog stick) The third binding for the Modifier key is set to Thumb L to make spin attacks easier (see below).ĭpad Down (used for centering the camera and other contextual actions) – Dpad Downĭpad Up (used for equipping the harp) – Hold Right Trigger and press Dpad Upĭpad Right (not sure what its used for in game) – Hold Right Trigger and press Dpad Rightĭpad Left (not sure what its used for in game) – Hold Right Trigger and press Dpad Left The second (Left Trigger) key is for times when you do not want to Z-Target, such as when flapping your wings during flight, etc. Left Shoulder is also the Z-Targeting button so when you Z-Target to “lock on” to an enemy it will automatically switch to fast-emulation for sword swings. I mapped the modifier to three keys, Left Shoulder, Left Trigger, and Thumb L (press down on the Left Analog stick). Like the control profile in the above link my profile has a “modifier” key which lets the emulator know when you want to make a rapid movement instead of a very slow movement. It seems a bit strange on paper but when I started playing the game it worked out nicely. I finally got fed up with not being able to make precision attacks when I wanted and this is what I came up with. The main difference between my profile and others is that I moved the sword controls from the Right Analog stick to the A,B,X, and Y buttons. I saw another control setup on here that gave a tutorial so here is a short tutorial of my own (also included in the readme). Here is a video I made showing the increased accuracy of the profile with sword swings: NOTE: Notice the "version" number on the attached file, there is a changelog included in the readme that explains what I altered and why. The profile is in the attachment below along with a readme that includes the tutorial I give here. It might seem a bit strange at first, mapping the sword swings to the A, B, X, and Y buttons but try it out first before forming an opinion. Hey, I wasn't sure where to post this and I am not even sure people are still interested but I pulled out Skyward Sword recently and went through the trouble to making a new profile for my Logitech controller so I thought I'd share it. I have not tested it with an Xbox controller, however. This profile is Xinput, which means it should work with PS3, Xbox and Logitech controllers (as long as they are set to Xinput mode). ![]()
